I have had the good fortune to be many things in the entertainment industry. I was a working actor for 10 years, spent 5 years as a producer and now fifteen and counting as an agent. I have sat on every side of the table. I’ve negotiated from two different angles and have done thousands of deals. I’ve worked on large productions and small. TV, theater and movies. I’ve negotiated with very big names and lots of people you will never hear of. I have had a blast.
At this point in my career, I feel that perhaps I have something to teach others. My opinions aren’t perfect, but I wish someone had shared with me even imperfect strategies when I was a young artist trying to make it as a performer.
I live and work in LA. The rest of my life lacks relevance to what we’re trying to accomplish here, but I’m sure will seep into the dialogue over time.
